FAQ
Your questions, answered.
-
Over the past few years, I have observed how people sometimes need support navigating their artistic practices, ideas or projects. From my experience as a visual artist, director and educator — plus a person — I often got asked to look at things or help with things, which I really enjoy. I’ve set up Acts Of Service so that more people can access and enjoy my knowledge, skills, questioning and support, while I help them develop forward. With Acts Of Service I get to do it in my own way + on my own terms.
-
Both. With the exception of Act One: Soundboard Sessions that runs at 60 minutes — this one is only available online.

English & Dutch (Nederlands).

We’re going to have an in-depth, deeply active, conversation about what you want to work on. I will actively listen to you ask you many, many questions that can help you get unstuck, move through a challenge or spark new connections. During this session, I will also take notes of any ideas, connections or links that come up — so you won’t have to. This way you can just focus on developing forward.

The prices I set are a reflection of the in the time I am investing into you, your ideas, projects or development. This investment covers not only the active time we communicate with one another — it also includes actively preparing for our meeting(s), doing the research, setting up the right documents and finding additional sources and materials that relate to your forward development and growth. You are paying me for my knowledge and skills - both professionally and personally. Additionally, my time spent and my professionalism ensure that you have something to take with you when moving forward, so you can keep growing and developing forward as a person and as a professional. Ultimately, by investing in my services, you are investing back into yourself.

I hear you. Shoot me an email real quick: hello@actsofservice.world and let’s see if we can work out a payment plan or if I can take your request on a sliding scale basis. No promises, but I will do my best to think of a solution with you.

Students get a 50% discount. This discount is only available for Act One: Soundboard Sessions.

While I currently work out the payment system, Acuity Scheduling only allows for Creditcard / Debit card payments. I can also invoice you or send you a Tikkie (only for NL based folks!)
-
Yes. Please send me an email with what you are looking for, for how many people, how long and what your available budget is. We will take it from there.

No. This could be for a variety of reasons; time, energy or simply because it does not align with what I believe in, or am able to provide. This is why all request responses are reviewed carefully - which can take up to 48 hours.
About
A little bit about me.
My name is Tarona, and I was born in 1985 — meaning I have been a human being for 40 years. My full time job is being myself, but for clarity; I spend most of my days a film director, visual artist & educator. I come from a line of educators, healers and seers — and have always naturally gravitated towards offering support. I started Acts Of Service as a way to honor this lineage, while also translating my years of life experience as a human being & professional, into a practical support system for others. My belief is that we are all interconnected — and everyone has something they can pass on to someone else. With Acts Of Service, I share my natural abilities to support those who need it and to pass on knowledge that I have obtained over my lifetime so far. Like Maya Angelou once said: “When you learn, teach. When you get give.”
